Cabin Fever!

Starting on Friday, February 5th, the DC area was inundated with snow. I believe it was Good Morning America that labeled it the Capital's "Storm of the Century." It finally ended about 5 pm on Saturday, leaving nearly 33 inches in its wake. As of today (Monday), we are all still home since the Federal Government is closed. And the forecasters are predicting another 6-8 inches starting tomorrow!

As you can imagine, we all have a bit of cabin fever, including Adam. We've had to get very creative to keep this little guy entertained. Here is a bit of what we've been up to!

Adam discovered that his new favorite food is CHEESE!

He'd eat an entire slice in one sitting if we'd let him!

"Reading" the Cheerios box

LOTS of time playing with every toy in the toy box!

And even getting IN the toy box!

He loves the box that these books came in...even better than the books!

About mid-day on Saturday we resorted to cake pans and a big plastic spoon....

And then moved on to measuring cups!

Thank GOD for the jumperoo! (does this boy have some crazy hair or what?!?)

You know you're getting desperate when you put your child in a laundry basket and pull him around the room. Here's he's not so sure.....

Warming up to the idea....

"Whee!"

Cabin fever got the best of us and we headed outside to check out the snowy neighborhood.

Our front steps (notice the lamp post buried under the snow)

This video will give you a true picture of what life has been like at the Pauls!
