On September 4th, Adam and I flew up to Albany to celebrate Carly's 3rd birthday! It was quite an adventure flying without Daddy, but Adam did so well! I put him in the Baby Bjorn carrier and he just looked around at all the faces in the airport and barely made a peep (except to talk everyone's ears off waiting for departure!) He slept all the way there and all the way home. The weekend just wasn't the same though because JaJa (Lisa's Dad) suffered a terrible back injuring a few days before. Luckily there is no permanent damage and he is on the looong road to recovery. We certainly missed Grandma and JaJa terribly over the weekend and cannot wait until our next plane ride to see them on September 25th!
